We want to send our love to the many people affected by the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey.
As of me writing this post, there is ongoing search and rescues and evacuations occurring around the clock. Over 100,000 homes are damaged and over 30,000 people in emergency shelters. Sadly, most of these people seeking shelter in emergency shelters had to leave their pets to fend for themselves.
As you know this is absolutely horrible. Fortunately, there are amazing groups that are rescuing these lost pets, providing food, water, shelter and veterinary care and hopefully are reuniting them with their owners.
We have compiled a list of verified animal rescue groups that are doing work. Please feel free to share, donate and volunteer if you can.
